Born and raised in San Mateo, Rob has proudly served our District 3 community and the City of San Mateo for the past 4 years. His term as your Mayor and Councilperson has allowed him a deeper understanding of our residents and district, with its unique needs and challenges.

Rob’s love for San Mateo is regularly on display. As he raises his family here with wife, Jen, and works full-time locally, he’s driven to show up and be present every day to build a better San Mateo – with you.

It’s important to Rob to represent all San Mateans.  He is approachable and thoughtful, and has the ability to see beyond agendas to prioritize what’s best for our city.  Rob has consistently demonstrated a willingness to listen and compromise with all stakeholders, but places a focus on the residents of San Mateo as their representative – a title he takes very seriously.
